Not bad Again, there s not much of anything Rebirth related or not enough to justify the prices, in my opinion , but it s a decent buddy cop story.Jessica and Simon are both GL s from Earth, and not fond of each other.Apparently, all the other GL s are busy doing I m assuming Rebirth y stuff, so Hal shows up and knocks their stubborn heads and power batteries together. Now they re stuck together Let the fun begin You also get a glimpse of something happening somewhere But it wasn t quite en Not bad Again, there s not much of anything Rebirth related or not enough to justify the prices, in my opinion , but it s a decent buddy cop story.Jessica and Simon are both GL s from Earth, and not fond of each other.Apparently, all the other GL s are busy doing I m assuming Rebirth y stuff, so Hal shows up and knocks their stubborn heads and power batteries together. Now they re stuck together Let the fun begin You also get a glimpse of something happening somewhere But it wasn t quite enough to stoke my fire for this particular title I think I m gonna go check out the other Green Lantern titlesThank you, for this one, Joshwaves

This was pretty good, basically Hal puts Jess and Simon in a this is our get along shirt and they gotta do a bit of team work Nice set up for the series, plus with any team work building exercise it s bound to turn out horrific but it looks like it s gonna be good to read Not rating these rebirth titles as they re just one issue and it seems unfair to rate them off a few pages, but this is definitely worth picking up

I read this as a physical single issue, but I m not able to find that edition on GR, so I m just going to use this one. This was probably my favorite of this week s Rebirth one shots I ve never read anything Lantern related, but I like the concept of the emotional spectrum, and seeing as how this issue was really, really interesting, I think this title may be one of the better ones.

I m a lover of all things dealing with Hal Jordan, but I ve never been too fond of the other human Lantern Corps members I ve only made it into the New 52 Green Lantern series far enough to read the first volume that contains Simon Baz I m not in love with that character, but I already like him better that Kyle Raynor and John Stewart I know the female GL, Jessica Cruz, comes in sometime towards the end of New 52, but this book is my introduction to the character I ve yet to see enough of he I m a lover of all things dealing with Hal Jordan, but I ve never been too fond of the other human Lantern Corps members I ve only made it into the New 52 Green Lantern series far enough to read the first volume that contains Simon Baz I m not in love with that character, but I already like him better that Kyle Raynor and John Stewart I know the female GL, Jessica Cruz, comes in sometime towards the end of New 52, but this book is my introduction to the character I ve yet to see enough of her to form an opinion of her as a character This book shows both Baz and Cruz dealing with their civilian lives when they each receive a call on their Lantern ring to report to the moon Hal Jordan sent out the message and ends up telling the two that they will have to partner up because they are both so new to the game He then proceeds to make it so that they have no choice, but to team up Towards the end of the book, we get a glimpse of Red Lanterns Atrocitus, Bleez, and Dex starr setting them up to be the main villains of this first arc if not the entire series.I m a huge Geoff Johns fan and I m glad to see him helping steer the direction that the series initially heads in Johns has a co writer with him, but I can t remember what that guy s name is I was pleased overall with the story of this issue and look forward to seeing what the Red Lanterns have in store for these 2 rookie Green Lanterns Story gets 5 stars. The art in this series is provided by Ethan van Sciver If you ve ever seen his art in the earlier GL books, that should be enough to make you want to pick up this series I love his art As long as the writers can keep me semi interested in the two new GL s, I ll keep picking up the books because the art is that damn good Art 5 stars.Overall 5 star book I know this is only 1 issue, but I m loving how the series is starting off I usually review just the collected trades, but I enjoyed this enough to want to go ahead and get a review out there Only time will tell if the series remains this good If you re even remotely interested in any of the Green Lanterns, pick this up
