My only regret in finishing this book, is the knowledge that, at least for now, there is no Meant for Me 4 I loved this story, I love Happy House, I love Thomas, his parents, siblings, and the full cast of characters Sometimes, I forget who belongs to who m , but I get to it.I salute Ms St James for delving into Down Syndrome, and making the reader so proud of how she integrates disability in such an instructive, loving way I m an old fart, and this compassionate author brought me to tears My only regret in finishing this book, is the knowledge that, at least for now, there is no Meant for Me 4 I loved this story, I love Happy House, I love Thomas, his parents, siblings, and the full cast of characters Sometimes, I forget who belongs to who m , but I get to it.I salute Ms St James for delving into Down Syndrome, and making the reader so proud of how she integrates disability in such an instructive, loving way I m an old fart, and this compassionate author brought me to tearsthan once I had similar experiences in 1 and 2, which is why I want a 4.I rarely discuss what I read with others A couple of days ago, my husband and I hosted his sister, husband and their two wonderful 12 and 10 year old daughters We were outside, socially distant, eating our own food, and being very careful We then sat around our fire pit, chairs also 6 10 feet apart, chatting away At one point, motivated by one of our nieces waving her hands, I launched into a long, probably too long, discussion, around Thomas, Down Syndrome the girls needed to be taught about this condition , leading up to my silly waving my hands over my head and calling out to each of them, drawing out there names as Thomas does We all then got silly and shouted names, and waving hands. That s what Ms St James did to me, and I hope to many others Thanks again for a great read

Mixed bag 2.5 stars After the first 2 books which I enjoyed, I had high expectations for this one The premise of this story was good Trisha s over the top reactions were horrible And it s not as if all that would have been ok if Brock had been the thief either. And the whole mafioso druglord thing went from not likely to downright silly.I really liked Brock, and was relieved that the author didn t do the clich d PTSD I m too damaged stereotype with the relationship.Overall, this one just f Mixed bag 2.5 stars After the first 2 books which I enjoyed, I had high expectations for this one The premise of this story was good Trisha s over the top reactions were horrible And it s not as if all that would have been ok if Brock had been the thief either. And the whole mafioso druglord thing went from not likely to downright silly.I really liked Brock, and was relieved that the author didn t do the clich d PTSD I m too damaged stereotype with the relationship.Overall, this one just feels like the author was trying too hard to come up with something ended up just dialing it in

WOW I thoroughly enjoyed this story At first, I thought it was a hokey for the author to go through the episode of Trish going through her ordeal, but then I understood the purpose in the way Trish used it for her friends at Happy House.
