Maybe reality but doubtfulRead the author s listed bestseller a classic sex manual Then read this book I am dubious about the reality unless the reader also thinks Big Brother is also reality.Additionally, I sincerely doubt professionals with regulatory oversight boards above them behave as the characters here This one languished on my Kindle for four full years It likely should have stayed unread Do not bother with this.

As a paramedic who often provide care to people with mental challenges, the title of this book naturally hooked me It is a memoir of the author s experience working in a psychiatric hospital It narrates the rare and interesting stories behind the walls of a psychiatric hospital, how doctors and nurses struggle with the daily realities of having to manage people with mental illnesses, in a honest and direct way The scences were very well described and so real, sometimes full of drama, sometime As a paramedic who often provide care to people with mental challenges, the title of this book naturally hooked me It is a memoir of the author s experience working in a psychiatric hospital It narrates the rare and interesting stories behind the walls of a psychiatric hospital, how doctors and nurses struggle with the daily realities of having to manage people with mental illnesses, in a honest and direct way The scences were very well described and so real, sometimes full of drama, sometimes full of humour In my opinion, what makes this book unique is not just the rarity of the story, but the way it is presented in such an interesting and attention grabbing way However, for me, the most important thing is that I ve learned a lotabout psychiatry and human bahaviour than I can ever hope to learn in such a short amount of time

I read this because my job takes me to a psychiatric hospital about once each week I wonder if it is really like this inside, but highly doubt it I do think they probably have to have some of the silly abbreviations that are very dark humor otherwise it is all too serious and too much to handle.

well it was a story like no other that is for sure I have read books that were better and ones that were way worse it did keep me interested but I am not sure this is a great representation of what goes on in a mental hospital though I do think giving it 3 stars was overly generous.
