The book was uite useful A lot of the things the book mentioned I had already realized on my own but it put it in simple terms which made everything very explicit so that I could understand my own thoughts better I am going to try to implement the strategies it explained into my life starting tomorrow and I will hopefully see an improvement

My favorite parts of this resource include the anxiety ladder and exposure ladder for we in this field know that exposure therapy is the gold crown of helping clients and helping oneself through specific anxietyJennifer Shannon shows us in a very visual way what that worry ladder and treatment looks like She uses scaling cartoons journaling and limited text broken up with picturesgraphics to appeal to younger readersI do recommend this for its cognitive behavioral treatment CBT approach for we know that this modality is a highly evidence based therapy You may of course benefit from finding your child or teen a therapist to work with and guide youyour child
