What first drew me to this book was the artwork Each page is filled with gorgeously colourful drawings and pictures, and I am a complete sucker for anything pretty Aside from that, this is a great book It explains magick and spells in a simple, easy to understand way without being patronising I have encountered many Wiccan books which were so overwhelming and stuffed with confusing, sometimes even contrdictory information, but here there is none of that It s informative but also enjoyable an What first drew me to this book was the artwork Each page is filled with gorgeously colourful drawings and pictures, and I am a complete sucker for anything pretty Aside from that, this is a great book It explains magick and spells in a simple, easy to understand way without being patronising I have encountered many Wiccan books which were so overwhelming and stuffed with confusing, sometimes even contrdictory information, but here there is none of that It s informative but also enjoyable and does not make your brain hurt trying to take everything in Some of the spells are a little basic and fanciful, like charms or superstitious habits than spells, but it also contains a lot of useful and different ones such as spells for protection, health and a guide to adapting and writing your own spells This book also features many interesting meditations, and rituals for Wiccan sabbats and stages of life which are a good starting point for planning your own rituals.I would say that this is an excellent book for anyone curious about Wicca or new practitioners who are looking for a starting point More experienced Wiccans would probably find it enjoyable too, but perhaps a little basic

This is a nice spell book with some easy spells for beginners to the craft but otherwise there is nothing new here I like the illustrations presented and the book is high quality printing and stock for a paperback but it is definitely beginners oriented and there is nothing innovative You could probably find even better spells online or similar but it is a handy format I like the author s voice and there are some useful tips throughout the book I have her journal which was also nicely pres This is a nice spell book with some easy spells for beginners to the craft but otherwise there is nothing new here I like the illustrations presented and the book is high quality printing and stock for a paperback but it is definitely beginners oriented and there is nothing innovative You could probably find even better spells online or similar but it is a handy format I like the author s voice and there are some useful tips throughout the book I have her journal which was also nicely presented I d be muchinterested in her really WRITING about witchcraft then regurgitating what surely everyone knows by now about witchcraft

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers To view it, click here I pretty much enjoyed this book, but I thought it was gross when she said, Witchy parents often keep the placentaSome serve it as part of the party buffet, fried or as pate Ew I also didn t like when she pretty much said when magic k used for selfish means was bad I did like the idea of using crayons to color white candles or using a ribbon to represent the color at the base of the candle instead.

This was by far the BEST and most simple book for Wicca or witchcraft in general that I have ever read and the illustrations and colors are absolutely beautiful This book sends out a great positive energy and I really would recommended to any one

While it may as well be a good starting point for beginners, I found some parts rather ingenuous.
