    Not as good as the first book in this series, Return to Foreverware, but Bureau of Lost was still somewhat entertaining, and it was really funny to see Elvis Presley appearing in one of these novelizations.

    i have no idea why i didn t read this series as a kid did i not know about it did i see the covers and just wasn t interested who knows but i m reading them now and they re splendid nostalgic 90 s brain candy bureau of lost is all about the Missing People people like amelia earheart, butch cassidy and the sundance kid, db cooper, etc who have been kept underground, frozen in cryogenic chambers in eerie, indiana for god only knows what reason the Missing People end up going missing when i have no idea why i didn t read this series as a kid did i not know about it did i see the covers and just wasn t interested who knows but i m reading them now and they re splendid nostalgic 90 s brain candy bureau of lost is all about the Missing People people like amelia earheart, butch cassidy and the sundance kid, db cooper, etc who have been kept underground, frozen in cryogenic chambers in eerie, indiana for god only knows what reason the Missing People end up going missing when a brownout happens and the power is cut off, helping some of them to escape and wreak havoc on the town of eerie simon and marshall help out al and lodgepoole, two endearing guys who work at the Bureau of Lost, to get these people back without having to call in the higher ups or the police, risking al and lodgepoole s jobs love it i love the fact that there is a Bureau of Lost in the first place it s where all kids missing homework assignments go, and socks and pen caps and basically anything else that goes missing entrances to this bureau are in random places all over eerie, like in one of the washers in the laundromat, and in the back of simon s closet this is just good clean fun and it made me smile and i m loving this series i really would like to get into the tv series if i can find them on dvd
